'We use achiote (annatto) to obtain the red dye for our weaves. We also use it for cooking, that's how we ended up designing this bracelet in these colors,' confide the artisans from Weaving Hands of Atitlán. They craft the wrap bracelet in a palette of colors that includes different shades of red as well as brown, aqua, turquoise and copper-color beads. The bracelet is designed to wrap around the wrist approximately five times.
